What is your intention?
“If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.” – Lewis Carroll
What direction do you want to go?
We learn in The Creative Way, that if you don’t start your day first by setting your intention in the direction of your goal (then proceed to work or household chores, errands, etc.), by the end of the day, no steps have been taken on your own path.
There will always be chores to get done, jobs to do, but without a focus in a determined direction, the days, months and years will disappear into mundane tasks without definition or form. Translation:
Doing the same exact thing every day will not take you in the direction of your goal!
We are not on this earth to create monotony.
We are here to create beautiful things, learn about whatever interests us, share what we’ve learned and experience life and all it has to offer. To live our best selves. To live our lives as a Masterpiece. Don’t get caught up in the minutia.
Advance Confidently In the Direction of Your Dreams
If one advances confidently in the direction of one’s dreams, and endeavors to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. — Henry David Thoreau
An intention can be as lofty as a lifelong dream of a new career, losing weight, taking a class or just stepping out of your comfort zone in some way.
Visualize your goal.
Write it down. Make a list of things you need to do to achieve your goal and do at least one of them each day.
Even taking a small step forward is forward and farther than you were the day before.
And it tells the Universe/ Creator that you are moving in this direction. And that will help bring you closer to your goal.
It’s progress you will feel so good about!
The options are limitless!
