Move Into Your Next Act in 2021
By Marjorie Favuzzi
Have you wanted to make a change in your life or career but have not known what the next right step should be?
Discerning the next right step is much easier if you have a way to envision what’s in your heart, move the doubt aside, and financially plan for how to move ahead. That’s can a tall order to do on your own, especially in this environment. So the place to start is managing your thoughts and emotions.
I have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), though I rephrase that to having a creatively wired brain with Creative Idea Syndrome. I have so many great ideas that I can’t always focus on one area, and add stress to the mix and it becomes overwhelming.
2020 was a year full of stress and uncertainty.
I’m not sure when life will return to “normal”, whatever that will be like. For now, I have to manage the overwhelm and take life one step at a time, using the same tools that I teach others.
4 Simple Exercises to Help
I practice a series of four simple exercises, ten minutes total, from Brain Gym™ called PACE. PACE stands for Positive, Action, Clarity and Energy, all of which I really need. One of the things that PACE does is it calms the calms my mood and thoughts, so that I can focus and decide what the next right step is.
I urge you to try it, in fact I’ll even lead you through it, virtually.
First, do a brain dump by writing down the thoughts in your head on paper. Turn your paper over and do the exercises along with me on YouTube. Here’s the video.
Now write down your thoughts. Do you see a difference? That’s what it feels like to be truly in the moment.
If you’re like me, you, too, are juggling multiple thoughts and feelings at once.
I get it, you’re human, but this doesn’t help you move forward. Your brain needs to settle, so you can release the stress and get focused on how to bring about what you really want. That’s the springboard to your future, your very own next act.
2020 is over – it’s a new year, and it’s time for a NEW YOU!
To experience all this and more, I invite you to attend Your Next Act, January 17th & 18th, 2021.
This two day workshop has been designed to address each the challenges of focusing and managing your emotions so that you gain the practical steps, tools and support to move forward.
We hope to see you there.
